Holiday Apartment & Guest Rooms
Completed in 2014, the holiday apartment and the separate guest rooms are located on the upper floor. They are built in half-timbered and loam construction with wooden floorboards. They have a separate entrance with access to a roof terrace with outdoor furniture for your use. Free parking is available.
Our holiday apartment has been awarded DTV-stars by the German Tourism Association.
We have been awarded the seal of approval as a holiday farm by the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof und Landtourismus in Deutschland e.V.

Spacious and light-flooded apartment for up to 7 persons with kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.

Animals & Farming
We share our farm with cats, chickens, pigeons, rabbits, horses and cows.
We are happy to offer guided tours of our farm.
Rides with the horse-drawn carriage can be arranged.
Booking conditions & arrival and departure
After previous arrangement your arrival is possible from 3pm to 8pm. On the day of departure the accommodation needs to be vacated by 10am. We will be happy to accommodate your individual wishes whenever possible.
Cancellation free of charge until six weeks before arrival, after that 90% of the total price will be charged as cancellation fee.
A deposit of 50% of the total price is required directly after booking.
The remaining amount is due at the latest six weeks before arrival.
Conditions/Extras
Bringing a dog is only possible in our Guest Room I. The price is 10,00 € / dog / night (max. 40,00 € / stay).
You are welcome to use our bicycle rental (8,00 € / bicycle per person & day).
There is the possibility to organize celebrations with 30 - 100 persons in the former cowshed. Chairs, crockery, cutlery, stove, refrigerators and a stage are available. Such events require prior arrangement and are subject to additional charges.

The Werdau Forest, with an area of 62 square kilometers, is a popular destination for hikers and cyclists. The district town of Greiz, 8 km away, is worth a visit. It is the former residence of the Reuss princes with its castles, museums and a very beautiful park in the tradition of the English gardens. Within a radius of 20 km you will find the Plohn amusement park, alum and stalactite caves, great public indoor and outdoor swimming pools and thermal baths as well as the largest brick railway bridge in the world, the Göltzschtal bridge. Take time for some exciting day trips to the beautiful cities of Erfurt, Weimar (home to Goethe and the Bauhaus architecture), Jena, Leipzig, Dresden, Meissen (with the world famous porcelain museum), and the Erzgebirge, a beautiful mountainous area.
